A request from an acquaintance - I thought (void) would be a good
place to ask.
"Does anyone happen to know of any courses/videos that teach you how
to make electronic music whilst assuming you don't know much about
music in general?"
So what are we all listening to nowadays? I've cut back a lot on music at
home (bf likes to listen to podcasts and doesn't care for metal) and at
work (somehow still don't get distracted in an open plan office, even
without the office or cubicle walls of yesteryear), but still find a little
time for M.I.A and Dead Can Dance (who will shortly be touring Europe for
their new album "Dionysus").
What's new in electronic music?
That was a blast from the past!
Who's still here?

Welcome to (void)
Writing code is one of the most fundamental ways of changing your
computing environment. It allows you to mould your environment and
blend it into your mental space. This act of creating a computing
environment can alter the hacker as much as it shapes the technology.
The (void) mailing list is for the discussion of how technology
affects the psyche and the soul. We don't evangelise any points of
view and we don't take ourselves too seriously. (void) is meant for
the sharing of everything from the deep philosophy of unix to idle
musing about the net.
You can send messages to the list via email, by emailing

does the same.
