Synching Tidal to sooperlooper using midi clock
by gabriel gras
Hello,
I will be trying to sync TidalCycles to sooperlooper (
http://essej.net/sooperlooper/docs.html) I tried to do this in the past but
failed and did not really look into it too deeply. I believe it should be
possible to send midi click messages to sooperlooper to get them synced but
the default midi click message in the superdirt hacks folder didn't really
work too well... Any way I'll be digging into it and share my results here.
Would be great if anyone has any tips or ideas. I think it would open up a
whole new world for cooperation with other instruments like bass, keys,
vocals... Etc. They could sync up and then the loop could even be exported
and then loaded into superdirt on the fly! Would be awesome! I hope I can
get it working. Cheers!

How to Modify your Display Language in Windows 10
by sofiamartine4566@gmail.com
Windows 10 is capable of switching the default language. You may not need to worry anymore as your new PC with Windows 10 can switch between thirty different languages. If you feel to change to your preferred language or are not able to freely access your system due to preset default language you can opt to switch it at any time you like.
This feature comes in handy when multiple users work on the same computer and have different language preferences. It can also be possible that you have bought your new PC from online stores, and your PC has been shipped from some other country with different language preferences.

Error: No local targets specified, so a plain ghci will be started with no package hiding or package options / Happy New Year!!!!
by byrkelou@gmail.com
Hi!
I have an issue with tidal i can t really resolve.
I am working on Mac OS 10.11.6, SuperCollider 3.9.3, Atom 1.33.1.x64 I just updated tidal 1.0.5 via cabal and use GHCi, version 8.6.3.
I am getting this error:
"Note: No local targets specified, so a plain ghci will be started with no package hiding or package
options."
Does anyone know a way to fix it? I kind of got lost in it by now. Thank you!!
Details:
Tidal worked perfectly, but when I added new samples to super dirt (my own samples .mp3) first it played them perfectly. after a restart of my computer it absolutely didn t want to play the new samples but played the old ones, I updated tidal and then it didn t play any samples anymore, it seems now ghci can not find the tidal packages (?).
After some reading and trying etc. it now gives me the error I print below.
And:
Super collider says it "listens to tidal" as it should but in the samplebanks it loads it shows the new folders which hold my new samles to be empty when they are not (Foldername(0)). which is wired.
And sc throws no errors when I execute a pattern in tidal, only while loading the superdirt synthdefs it throws the warning below.
sc warning when loading the superdirt synthdefs:
"---- SC3-Plugins not found. This is not a problem.Note that we are using a comb delay, which may not sound the same as SwitchDelay from the plugins

Full tidal eror:
Note: No local targets specified, so a plain ghci will be started with no package hiding or package
options.
If you want to use package hiding and options, then you can try one of the following:
* If you want to start a different project configuration
than /Users/user/.stack/global-project/stack.yaml, then you can use stack init to create a
new stack.yaml for the packages in the current directory.
* If you want to use the project configuration
at /Users/user/.stack/global-project/stack.yaml, then you can add to its 'packages' field.
Configuring GHCi with the following packages:

using clutchIn with tidal 1.0.5
by byrkelou@gmail.com
Hi!
I have always used clutchIn extensively but as with the new way transitions work I didn t really manage to recreate it.
I m trying something like written below but get a.. gabber :) of my sounds
clutchIn 1 4
(every 4 (...) $
stack[
sound "bd:1",
sound "bd:2"
])
I want patterns to gradually change.
Does anyone know a solution? Use degrade?
If not.. is there a way to 'downgrade' tidal to the older version?
cabal install tidal-x.x.x?
I never really recorded parts of my set and would love to.
Thank you for reading!
