New TOPLAP.org editor
by Alex McLean
Hi all
I've been slacking on keeping toplap.org up to date so am really happy
to pass this on to Luis Navarro Del Angel, top live coder (inc as part
of the phenomenal RGGTRN) and researcher. I think his intention is to
form this into a more formal role as editor, so send him your live
coding news, TOPLAP node links, requests for toplap.org blog accounts
etc - navarrol(a)mcmaster.ca
Thanks Luis!
cheers,
alex

Performing Code Live @ UC San Diego Featuring Shelly Knotts
by Amy Alexander
In SoCal? Check out some live coding live at UCSD!
Please join us Thursday June 7th for "Performing Code Live" at Calit2
Auditorium.
"Performing Code Live" is the closing event for the "Performing Code"
gallery exhibition.
Shelly will be here live for this event. There'll be a panel discussion on
a hopefully enticing slew of topics encompassing collaborative
improvisation, social hierarchies, networked collaboration as
cyberfeminism, coding as performance, laptop ensembles and liveness.
Then we'll have a live coding performance by ALGOBABEZ!
It's free, and there's a reception afterwards!
