Hi Tim & Aengus ,
Sorry for my delay to answer your email. I’ll be in England from 15th to 21th of October, if you’re still interested to have my performance there, I’ll be glad to go to Margate to perform with my electric cello of live code music during the weekend (18th-20th). Let me know this week so I could organize a nice & comfortable trip :)
Greetings!
Rafaele Andrade

Dear Margate organizers,
I've been following the updates about the crew for the Algorave on 23th. I would be interested to participate, even if the contribution fee it is not enough.
Let me know if you would be interested on my presence!

Thanks Aengus,
Harry is producing the event now and he's trying to keep it as local as possible.
He's also looking for 50% men women.
So I think you wont need to fly over, but thanks for the offer.

hey hey all,
Aengus here, nice to meet ya’ll.
It would be super awesome in coming down, I’m happy pay for my own flights (just moved back from LDN to Amsterdam). Not that experienced in creating music through code, I make ambient/electronic music in a more traditional method with samplers and piano.
Hope I’m not to late only picked up on this today. Big fan of the algoR/scene.
Peace and love!

thanks Joseph, looks great and it is wheelchair friendly - so it would be doable. Although if you needed to stay over my flat is up a hell of a lot of stairs.
i'll add you to the list and get back to you in a week or so - I'll see if there is any local talent as i want to prioritise that.
Tim

I’m not local, based in Bath (£50 return train travel to Margate) but would be interested in performing if there is space and the venue is wheelchair friendly.
I’m less dance, more dreamy with lots of visuals.

Hi Tim,
If you book far enough in advance it’s cheap to fly to London then London to Margate.
Can do a price check if that works.

Thanks Norah,
it'd be great to include you.
how would you get to Margate from Falmouth?
The budget is £500 for everyone who performs so i was thinking of local people or some down from london, then each performer say if there were 5 would get about £100 - £26 train return = £75 and get to look around Margate which is an interesting town. From Falmouth all the money would go on travel.???

Hello Algorave,
is anyone interested in doing an Algorave night in Margate UK?
The date is 24th October 7-10pm
The venue is Woolworths building on Margate High Street run by The Margate School.
The Algorave would run alongside some other experimental music performances including one by Ed Kelly (Pd expert) who now lives here. There is a budget for this of £500 (maybe more - depends ). We can provide free floor space too if you need to stay over.
The Algorave would be part of NOW digital which is the digital strand of Margate Festival which is running in parallel with the Turner Prize at the Turner Contemporary in Margate so there should be a lot of people around. We're organising the festival.
The NOW digital festival will be filled with projections, electronics, interactives, films by local digital artists and should be of interest to algoravers - there's also the possibility of installing something if you like.
Thanks
Tim + Nicola
